Welcome to AVC - Ethics of Stem Cell Research
Stem cell research is one of the most fascinating areas of contemporary biology, but, as with many expanding fields of scientific inquiry, research on stem cells raises scientific questions as rapidly as it generates new discoveries. Over the next week, high school students, under the guidance of graduate students and researchers, from across North America, will debate and try to reach consensus on this challenging and exciting topic through the use of blogs, discussion boards and video conferencing.
