By thinking about something else.
Does that work for you? What do you do about the one's that face you everday? i.e. failure (exams), rejection (friends/foes)

Think of things that make you happy or make you laugh!
Well, for tests and stuff like that, I freak out a bit before and after, and then I try not to think about it until I get results back.
