Stem Cell Research
I have been researching the stem cell issue in my health occupations class and from what ive researched I'm very intrested in this topic. In my opinion, i think that if we use the stem cells as a good thing like helping another, it will be okay. Some say that it isn't a good thing because it's someone elses but if another patient needs something than why not help, espically if it's just going to be thrown out anyways. There is many positive and negitive things about the stem cell research.
The stem cell research can help treating medical problemsl.These problems incuded, Parkinson's Disease, heart disease, stoke, and diabetes. Stem cells also have a big role in cancer. These are some pros on how stem cells can help patients that need it.
Some say that we shouldn't mess with life and that humans should not try and be god. These are some conflicts that researchs are dealing with. However doctors and scientiest arn't just going and taking them from paients they are asking and making sure they really want to do it.
Over all I believe that as a parent or family member if you feel you should or you want to you should be able to do what you want. The umbilical cord will help, if you don't want to help than it's just going to be a waste because if could save a life.
