Do "Developed" countries have a responsibility to assist "Developing" courses in their plight on HIV/AIDS? Why, why not?

I think we should have the responsibility to help others because we're all living on the same planet and we're all humans. I think that big and successful companies should take some of their earnings to help others like buying medicine for them and building schools for people who can't afford education.

I think we should help out the poorer countries by finding a cure for aids and to send any form of help we possibly can. The countries that are most affected by the HIV disease are countires that cannot help themselves. Without our help it would only get worse. So i ask you to push for help from our goverments to make a difference.

No they don’t have a responsibility to assist developing countries in their plight on HIV/AIDS because they would run the risk of contracting the disease themselves and that no matter what they do to help the developing countries, HIV/AIDS will always be present as long as there is no cure for it.

Yes they should because the golden rule does not only apply to individuals, it also applies to country's and regions. If someone in your family was suffering from a disease or something like that I am sure that you would do everything in your power to help them. So why wouldn't you help another country, whom is on the same earth as you which is all our home, which is a much larger scale family?

I think that as humans, even if it doesn't affect us we should help. Because it can affect us throughout our lives, either directly or indirectly through family or friends.

I think developed countries have a total responsibility of creating courses of action to help decrease HIV and Aids in developing countries. If we don't educate developing countries, they won't know how to prevent HIV and Aids, or that you can't treat HIV and Aids at this present time.
