Have any countries got to the point where they will hold an election? or are coming close to a democracy?
Nobody could possibly know what the future has in store for these Middle Eastern countries but the people of these countries must believe that it is better for them and their country as a whole if they are willing to revolt for it. If these eople didnt believe that what they believed was right then they wouldnt revolt in the first place
The only way to know for sure is to wait until each country holds their election.
When it comes to Egypt, I do think that there will be a democracy rather than a dictatorship. This is due to the fact that the military, who is currently keeping things in order, is pushing for the establishment of the democracy.
We have no idea what could happen all we haave to do is see how everything plays out in the Middle East
i agree some people say that due to the rioters being so unorganised when the dictatorships are taken down organised terrorist organisations will take office and then the country will be even more screwed
Im assuming that the revolution would lead to a democracy, due to both the civilians revolting AND the pressure of the military are both factors that would result in it.
We dont know what will happen in the middle east we cant tell what is going to happen i think we just need to see how things go before we start looking to the future
It is hard to tell what will happen in the future but hopefully things will get somewhat under control and life in the middle east can reach peace.
I believe we will not know what will happen in the future with these countries until an election is held to gain new leadership. Once there is a new leader it will become obvious whether or not the leader chooses democracy, dictatorship or another type of leadership for his country.
Hopefully terrorists groups do not become the leaders of the country's in termoil
We do not really know if there will be democracies or dictatorships in the Middle East. The only way that we would know is how much the people in those countries want a democracy. If the people are willing to stand up again if there is a government that they do not want, then it will be more likely that there will be a democracy. However, if they do not then it will be easier for a corrupt government to take hold of that particular country.
I feel that no matter what anyone may say about the future no one can truly know whether there will be a democracy or another dictatorship. For these people we can only hope that the government that is put in place is the best for the country.
There is no telling what will happen. Change will have to occur and it is up to the people whether or not they are willing to work through the changes and hardships to create a better tomorrow.
its hard to tell, ultimatly i think that the decision will hopefully be up to the people and they can decide what they want between the two if they want a dictatorship or democracy, i think their main goal in the beginning was to get rid of what the person in power because of the abuses depending on who tries to become the dictator and how the people see that person depends on what the decision will be

The people in the discussed countries must be the ones to stand up and create a democracy. A dictatorship forms when one faction takes control and ignores the other. If the people all stand up and demand that their voices be heard, a democracy will be established. With everything people did to rid themselves of a dictatorship, it seems ridiculous to expect another one to be formed.
I feel it will turn out to be a democracy. It may take some time, but the people have gone through so much and worked so hard to get their voices heard,I doubt they will ever just sit back and watch another dictatorship unfold in their country.
We cannnot know for sure at this point which revolting countries in the Middle East will ultimately become democracies or dictatorships. It seems like it would depend on how hard the people of those countries are willing to fight corruption and the rise of an unbalanced government in this time of such uncertainty. I think democracy is possible for all these countries.
