we have the responsibility to try and lower the carbon emissions that we produce and to create awareness about the emission s and the effects that they have on the environment. as a country we should set a limit on the amount of emissions produced from factories and cars

Both as individuals and as a nation, we are responsible for the emissions we produce. We should try to reduce the amount of carbon emissions in our day to day life, and in the workplace as part of a community to promote environmental awareness.

I think as an individual and as a country we should try the best we can to lower carbon emissions and also spread the word about it and try to get other people to help as well.

We all have individual as well as collective obligations to try and reduce the amount of greenhouse gases we produce and put into our atmosphere. We each have the responsibility to be informed and knowledgeable about the effects our emissions are having on the changing climate. We have the responsibility to teach and inform others what we know about these emissions and what we can do to help. We need to learn to do everything we possibly can to lower the emissions of carbon we are producing. We can start small, as individuals. Then we can begin to tackle this problem as communities, cities, provinces, and then even as a country as a whole. We need to make sure that every person in this country is aware of what is happening, and make sure they know what they can do to help.

I believe that as an individual that we need to change the amount of excess Carbon dioxide that we produce. Just by changing the little things alone will make a big different ex. instead of driving your car to the store across the street, walk there instead. If we don't change our ways now it'll be too late to do anything about the amount of Co2 that we produce.

Human activity is a major cause of climate change. This makes us accountable for a number of destructions that have occured. Therefore, it is not only our country's responsibility to work hard to reduce carbon dioxide emmissions, it is the respnsibility of each and every individual on this planet!

Yes, as an individual and as a country we need to lower our Carbon Dioxide emissions. We are the ones responsible for making the environment the way it is and need to try to fix it. Just doing the simple things that we have been asked to would be a good start such as, turning things off when we're done, walking places instead of driving, and using less power to do our activities.

I believe that I, as an individual living on this planet, have the responsibility to try and reduce my carbon footprint as well as raise awareness of how carbon emissions impact the environment around us. In addition, I believe that Canada as a country should be helping raise awareness of our carbon footprint and its impact on our planet. If more people globally were aware of their personal impact on the planet, I believe that it would help to cut down carbon emissions.

First and foremost I think every single Canadian, as an individual, has a responsibility when it comes to this. You as an individual shape the world around you based on your decisions, thoughts and actions. When it comes to finding our responsibility as an individual, we ourselves to an extent have to have that moment of reflection, thought and empathy upon what is happening with the world around us right now in terms of the environment. Once an individual achieves this then they can use this as their foundation, when they start to think of their responsisbility as an individual. Once we achieve this foundation within ourselves, then we can derive from this foundation motivation and obligation and in turn will make us want to think, talk and act towards the benefit of the environment and the world. We as Canadians are over 34 million strong. Your actions and thoughts alone will determine the fate of the world.

We, as people of the nation and as I, a citizen of this country, we have to be very aware of our ecological footprint. It is our responsibility to pay attention to how much carbon dioxide we produce. The way I transport myself around the city is by bike, by foot and by the ETS. By taking the ETS instead of my mother driving me back and forth, it reduces gas emissions and more people get around using the same amount of the gas.

I dont really think excess carbon dioxide is affecting me personally, but i do on hotter days cars could be ysed less.

This is our planet and country. We owe it to ourselves are future generations to take care of it. Our parents and grandparents (ancesters) have made sacrafices for us. It is our responsiblitiy to do the same.

I feel that as country and as a collective, we have the responsibility to take steps on limiting the amount of carbon dioxide that is emmited by reducing the the buring of fossil fuels and finding alternative ways to generate the engergy created by bunring fossil fuels. As an individual, i have the responsibility to raise awareness to the situation and do things in my everyday life that can attribute the reducing the CO2 emissions such as taking public transprtation, or walking or biking to destinations.

Carbon dioxide emissions released in Canada affect not only us, but enviroments all over the world. We need to take steps to reduce the emissons both as a country, and as an individual.

Canada as a nation and its citizen have a responsibility for the excess of CO2 we produced. With the large amount of oil and fossil fuels we get from the oil sands, along with its consumption. We play a pivotal role in the large production of CO2 and its emission into the atmosphere. Due to our role in this, it's our responsibility to reduce our CO2 emissions.

I belive as a canadian that its our responsibility to monetor how much excess carbon is going into the atmosphere. The government should be more strict on the industrial companies and canadians should support the new regulations that would be put in place.

All canadians take part in the releasing of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Even if we try to stop we are still taking part whether its by using electricity or using viechels to get around. We all need to take responsibility for our actions and stop blaming oil companies and other companies for what we are doing to the planet and its ecosystems.

As a citizen of a global north country, we consume and use more then what other people use in other countires. We should take responsibility for the increase amount of carbon dioxide we release into the atmosphere. It isn't fair for others in other countires to suffer for our actions. But I believe we shouldn't give up things to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide we release. Instead, we should find ways to get rid of extra amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. A example would be the carbon dioxide eating animal scientist are trying to be made.

My responsibility as an individual if we have more demands meaning more productions and because of that, excess carbon dioxide is emitted by factories.

I think we all have the responsibility of preventing carbon dioxide emission from being produced and finding ways to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that we are producing.

Government should create different ways to reduce the use of fossil fuels also create other methods of transportation that would cause less impact in the enviorment. People in the country should also be informed about the amount of carbon dioxide being produced because that would make people think of the consecuences of their acts and the affect in our world.

To decrease the amount of carbon dioxide in the air we have a responsibility to reduce the amount of gas excreted from vehicles. One of many ways to reduce this could be walking, not idling your vehicle for when not necessary. Due to us being in a western urbanized country we are so spoiled due to the fact that places and the things we need to survive are so close to us. We don't realise how much of an effect we have when we take our vehicle less then a block away where as we could walk to our destination.

As individuals we need to lessen our demands becasue once our demands go up so does production meaning more factories and more emission prdoced making the products. Also the government needs to put more laws and rules in stopping factories and oil sands from producing excess gasses

I think we should limit the amount of emissions, because it makes an irreversible damage.

We all need to realize what we are doing to the world by taking part in releasing carbon into the atmosphere whether we are want to or not. All canadian are using power, energy, and cars in their daily lives unaware of what they are doing wrong. we need take respnsibility for our actions instead of blaming things like the oil sands.

Canada is one of the worst emission producing countries out there, the least we can do is figure out a system that provides support for the atmosphere. Nowadays people just don't care anymore and this needs to change. If we don't start in a new direction soon, the next thing we know we'll be wearing gas masks and hazmat suits...

Peoples of Canada, including myself, have a huge responsibility on the carbon dioxide that is polluting our country. We should take these warnings, such as global warming, seriously. We should do everything in our power to make sure that our world can be a beautiful place. Ride your bike, take a walk, or even busing keeps vehicles of the road.
